Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes - tickets
The Nacional Museum de Bellas Artes (National Museum of Fine Arts) is a public institution, founded in 1913 and located in two impressive buildings at the famous Paseo del Prado in Old Havana. The Palacio Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) exhibits Cuban Arts, whereas the Palacio del Centro Asturiano (Palace of the Asturian Center) exhibits international art.
Together the Nacional Museo de Bellas Artes is one of the biggest collections of paintings and sculptures in Latin America and the biggest in the Caribbean Island. Apart from the most extended collection of Cuban art, the museum presents a large selection of old European art and ancient art from Rome, Greece and Egypt. The museum is pure reflection of the cultural importance and heritage of Cuba.
The tickets are valid from Tuesdays to Saturdays during the opening hours of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and entitle for one entry from 04 October 2016 until the end of the event period (29th April 2017).
